Panel 1
The butterfly spins, throwing Li Jing from its back.
Captions: Scientists back home are working on fixing that... While we raid American skies to slow the cause.
Panel 2
Li Jing tumbles through the sky. With a flick of her wrist, a grappling hook is fired, grabbing hold of the butterly.
Caption: Every butterfly we kill buys us more time.
Panel 3
Li Jing swings back towards the butterfly.
Captions: And of course bullets just bounce off their exoskeletons... So of course we have to fight close and personal.
Panel 4
Li Jing lands on the butterfly, driving her scalpel through the back of the creature’s head.
Captions: Striking at weak-spots with our laser-scalpels.
Panel 5
A slice of the scalpel sends the butterfly’s head flying through the air.
Captions: Damn. Fake head. It happens. Classic evolutionary adaptation.
Panel 6
Li Jing is swinging through the air again, as the buterfly’s body opens up to reveal a new head.
Caption: Hiding the real one beneath an unfolding thorax is a more recent mutation.
