Panel 1
Betty and the alien discuss their plight.
Zeeta: This shows our cases are more than just ‘local government research’ abductions. My name’s Zeeta.
Betty: I’m Betty. If we worked together, I bet we could figure out who took us.
Zeeta: How? Nobody respects alien abductees. We can’t get homes, we can’t get jobs, how can we prove we’re not crazy?
Betty: By being everything people expect us to be!
Panel 2
A car drives down a long desert road in the dead of night, heading towards thick, dark woodland.
Caption: ‘Hiya Folks, welcome to our live-stream!’
Panel 3
We see the next few panels through a video that Betty is recording on a phone. At the moment they are in the car, With Zeeta driving from atop a baby seat.
Betty: We’ve stolen a car and phone and we’re on a long, straight road in the middle of nowhere!
Panel 4
They arrive in the woods. Zeeta is setting up a camp fire as Betty keeps recording.
Betty: All to get to this secluded woodland, where we can watch the stars in peace!
Zeeta: Nobody knows we’re out here!
Panel 5
Betty cracks open a drink. Zeeta has lit the campfire. We’re going to stay up all night by this camp-fire, drinking beer and smoking pot!
Panel 6
Zeeta sits behind the fire and pulls out an acoustic guitar.
Zeeta: All the while debating the latest shape-shifting reptile conspiracy theories!
Panel 7
Snapping out of the phone-camera view, we look down on our heroic pair as dazzling spotlights fall upon them.
Betty: Aaand... something’s instantly drained my battery.
Zeeta: Is that them?
